3-Ingredient Peanut Butter Banana Cookies with Dark Chocolate Chips

These soft, flour-free peanut butter banana cookies are naturally sweet, packed with melty dark chocolate, and come together with just a handful of simple ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips, plus extra for topping
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Add the bananas, peanut butter, and egg to a blender or bowl, then blend or mash until smooth and well combined.
  3. Mix in the vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt, then fold in most of the dark chocolate chips.
  4. Scoop small portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet and gently flatten them into cookie shapes.
  5. Sprinkle the tops with the remaining dark chocolate chips for a bakery-style finish.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the cookies are set and lightly golden around the edges.
  7. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a rack to cool completely.

Tip: For thicker cookies, chill the dough for 10 to 15 minutes before baking, and use very ripe bananas for the sweetest flavor.
