9-Year-Old Magician “The Amazing Shoji” Delivers Brilliant Card Magic on America’s Got Talent 2021
One of the most heartwarming and impressive moments from America’s Got Talent 2021 came from a young boy with extraordinary talent—Shoji Naruishi, better known as “The Amazing Shoji.” At just nine years old, Shoji stunned the judges and audience with his skillful close-up magic.
During his audition, Shoji began with a smooth coin disappearance routine, followed by a flawless card trick that showcased his precision and stage confidence—rare qualities for someone his age. His charming personality and professional handling of the cards left everyone amazed.
The judges loved his performance and all four voted “Yes,” sending him to the next round. Although he was later eliminated during the deliberation phase and did not make it to the live shows, his audition remains one of the most memorable moments of the season.
After AGT, Shoji continued to gain attention online. His audition video has reached millions of views, and for his 10th birthday, he received a special surprise: a meeting with his idol, Shin Lim (AGT Season 13 winner), on The Tamron Hall Show.
