Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bread

This ultra-moist chocolate peanut butter banana bread is rich, naturally sweet, and swirled with melty dark chocolate for the easiest crave-worthy loaf.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup peanut butter (250 g)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 60-80 g dark chocolate, melted
- 1 tbsp peanut butter, for swirling on top
- 1 banana, halved lengthwise, for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease or line a loaf pan.
- Add the 3 ripe bananas to a bowl or directly into the loaf pan if mixing there, then mash until mostly smooth.
- Add the peanut butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and baking powder. Mix until fully combined and smooth.
- Pour or spread the batter evenly into the loaf pan. Drizzle the melted dark chocolate over the top and lightly swirl it in with a knife.
- Add small drizzles of extra peanut butter on top, then place the halved banana lengthwise down the center for the classic banana bread look.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the loaf is set and a toothpick inserted near the center comes out mostly clean.
- Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then remove and cool further before slicing.
Tip: Use very ripe, spotty bananas for the sweetest flavor and cleanly tent the loaf with foil near the end if the top starts browning too fast.
