High-Fiber Chocolate Hazelnut Spread

This rich, creamy chocolate hazelnut spread is naturally sweet, deeply chocolatey, and packed with fiber for a satisfying no-bake treat.
Ingredients
- 2 cups roasted hazelnuts
- 1/2 cup pitted Medjool dates, soaked in warm water for 10 minutes
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/2 cup milk of choice
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp fine sea salt
Instructions
- Add the roasted hazelnuts to a food processor and blend until they turn into a smooth, buttery paste, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Drain the soaked dates and add them to the processor along with the cocoa powder, chia seeds, milk, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, vanilla, and sea salt.
- Blend for 1 to 2 minutes until completely smooth, glossy, and spreadable. Add an extra splash of milk if you want a looser texture.
- Transfer the mixture to a jar or airtight container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the chia thicken the spread.
- Stir before serving, then enjoy on toast, fruit, pancakes, oatmeal, or straight from the spoon.
Tip: For the smoothest, most Nutella-like texture, use warm hazelnuts and blend long enough for their natural oils to fully release.
