S’mores Chocolate Lava Cookies

Ingredients:
1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup marshmallow fluff
Graham cracker crumbs, for garnish optional
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F 175°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. This is best done with an electric mixer, but you can do it by hand if you’re feeling strong!
3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
6. Stir in the milk chocolate chips and marshmallow fluff.
7. Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each cookie.
8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still slightly soft. The cookies will continue to cook slightly as they cool.
9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
10. While still warm but not hot!, gently sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over the top of each cookie for extra s’mores flair optional.
11. Let the cookies cool completely before serving. Enjoy your warm, gooey, chocolatey s’mores cookies!
