Chocolate Peanut Ice Cream Piping Bags

These trendy frozen piping-bag treats have a snappy chocolate-peanut shell and a luscious creamy chocolate filling that melts in your mouth.

Ingredients

  • 200 g dark or white chocolate, divided
  • 100 g roasted peanuts, finely chopped
  • 400 ml heavy cream (35%), very cold
  • 250 g sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 6 disposable piping bags

Instructions

  1. Melt 120 g of the chocolate and stir in the chopped roasted peanuts. Spoon a little into each piping bag and spread it around the inside by pressing from the outside to coat the bag in a thin layer. Lay the bags flat and freeze for 10-15 minutes until firm.
  2. Whip the cold heavy cream to soft peaks. In a separate bowl, mix the condensed milk, cocoa powder, vanilla, salt, and the remaining 80 g melted chocolate until smooth.
  3. Fold the whipped cream gently into the condensed milk mixture until light and creamy.
  4. Transfer the filling to the prepared chocolate-lined piping bags, leaving a little space at the top. Twist or tie the tops closed and freeze for at least 6 hours, or until solid.
  5. To serve, snip or peel away the piping bag, then let the ice cream sit for 2-3 minutes to soften slightly.
  6. For an extra glossy finish, drizzle with a little more melted chocolate and sprinkle with more peanuts before serving.

Tip: Use very cold cream and fully set chocolate shells for the best texture and a clean crunch when you bite in.
