Cody Johnson is using his big platform to point fans to Jesus.
When he won his first ACM Entertainer of the Year back in May, he gave all the glory to the Lord. He’s also spoken openly about growing up in church and finding a faith that feels real to him. “It’s not about perfection,” he told Southern Living.
Backstage before one of his shows, he explained why he sings about his faith. “This thing is bigger than any one of us.”
