Servings: 6-8
Prep Time: 15 mins
Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

12 oz elbow macaroni (or pasta of choice)

1 lb ground beef

1 tbsp olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup milk

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup mozzarella cheese (optional for extra cheesiness)

6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Cook the Pasta

Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. Cook the Bacon

In a large skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate. Once cooled, crumble it. Leave about 1 tbsp of bacon grease in the skillet for flavor.

3. Brown the Beef

In the same skillet, add olive oil (if needed) and brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Break it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat if necessary.

4. Add Garlic and Seasoning

Stir in the minced garlic, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

5. Make the Creamy Cheese Sauce

Lower the heat to medium. Pour in the heavy cream and milk. Stir until it begins to simmer.

Gradually add in the cheddar and mozzarella cheese, stirring constantly until melted and smooth.

6. Combine Everything

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the cheese sauce. Mix in the crumbled bacon (save a little for garnish).

7. Final Touch

Top with additional cheese and a sprinkle of bacon if desired. You can broil it for 2-3 minutes for a golden cheesy top.

8. Serve

Garnish with parsley or green onions. Serve hot and enjoy!
