Healthy Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

These soft, naturally sweet peanut butter banana cookies are packed with melty chocolate for the perfect healthier treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups oat flour
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp chopped peanuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas until mostly smooth. Stir in the peanut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla until well combined.
  3. Add the oat flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until a soft cookie dough forms, then fold in the chocolate chips and chopped peanuts if using.
  4. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of dough per cookie onto the prepared baking sheet and gently flatten them slightly with your hand or a spoon.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are just set.
  6. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Serve warm for extra melty chocolate.
  7. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for 2 days or in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Tip: For an even gooier center like the video, press a few extra chocolate chips into the middle of each cookie before baking.
