High-Fiber Chocolate Hazelnut Spread

This rich, creamy chocolate hazelnut spread is naturally sweet, deeply chocolatey, and packed with fiber for a satisfying no-bake treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups roasted hazelnuts
  • 1/2 cup pitted Medjool dates, soaked in warm water for 10 minutes
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp fine sea salt

Instructions

  1. Add the roasted hazelnuts to a food processor and blend until they turn into a smooth, buttery paste, scraping down the sides as needed.
  2. Drain the soaked dates and add them to the processor along with the cocoa powder, chia seeds, milk, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, vanilla, and sea salt.
  3. Blend for 1 to 2 minutes until completely smooth, glossy, and spreadable. Add an extra splash of milk if you want a looser texture.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a jar or airtight container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the chia thicken the spread.
  5. Stir before serving, then enjoy on toast, fruit, pancakes, oatmeal, or straight from the spoon.

Tip: For the smoothest, most Nutella-like texture, use warm hazelnuts and blend long enough for their natural oils to fully release.
