Lemon Cream Puff Pastry Tarts

Ingredients:
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
1/2 cup lemon curd
1/2 cup whipped cream or whipped topping
1 egg (for egg wash)
Powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Cut puff pastry into squares or circles and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
Lightly score a smaller shape inside each pastry to create a border. Prick the centers with a fork.
Brush edges with beaten egg. Bake 12–15 minutes until golden and puffed.
Let cool, then gently press down the centers.
Mix lemon curd with whipped cream. Spoon into pastry centers.
Chill until ready to serve. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
