Healthy Banana Brownies

These healthy banana brownies are rich, fudgy, and naturally sweetened with banana for an easy chocolate fix.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas
- 3 tbsp peanut butter
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp honey (optional)
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp Greek yogurt
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a small baking dish or loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Add the bananas, peanut butter, cocoa powder, honey, baking powder, Greek yogurt, egg, salt, and vanilla extract to a blender or food processor.
- Blend until completely smooth and thick, then fold in half of the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared dish and spread it evenly. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, until the center is just set and a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before slicing for the fudgiest texture.
Tip: Use very ripe bananas with lots of brown spots for the sweetest flavor and best brownie texture.
