Healthy Chocolate Dessert Oats

These rich, creamy chocolate dessert oats taste like a decadent mousse but are made with wholesome ingredients for an easy feel-good treat.
Ingredients
- 50 g quick oats
- 10–15 g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 5 g chia seeds
- 100 g Greek yogurt
- 150–170 ml milk
- 1 tsp honey, or to taste
- 1 tsp peanut butter or other nut butter
- 25–30 g dark chocolate, melted
- 1–2 tbsp chopped nuts
- Fresh berries, optional for topping
Instructions
- Add the quick oats, cocoa powder, chia seeds, Greek yogurt, milk, and honey to a blender or food processor.
- Blend until thick, smooth, and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. If it feels too thick, add a splash more milk.
- Transfer the mixture to a bowl or jar and chill for 20–30 minutes so the oats and chia can thicken into a dessert-like texture.
- Stir once chilled, then swirl the peanut butter over the top.
- Drizzle with the melted dark chocolate and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
- Serve right away for a silky pudding texture, or chill a bit longer for an even thicker chocolate oat mousse.
Tip: For the smoothest, most mousse-like result, blend thoroughly and use melted dark chocolate slightly cooled so it drizzles beautifully without seizing.
