Healthy Chocolate Dessert Oats

These rich, creamy chocolate dessert oats taste like a decadent mousse but are made with wholesome ingredients for an easy feel-good treat.

Ingredients

  • 50 g quick oats
  • 10–15 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 5 g chia seeds
  • 100 g Greek yogurt
  • 150–170 ml milk
  • 1 tsp honey, or to taste
  • 1 tsp peanut butter or other nut butter
  • 25–30 g dark chocolate, melted
  • 1–2 tbsp chopped nuts
  • Fresh berries, optional for topping

Instructions

  1. Add the quick oats, cocoa powder, chia seeds, Greek yogurt, milk, and honey to a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend until thick, smooth, and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. If it feels too thick, add a splash more milk.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a bowl or jar and chill for 20–30 minutes so the oats and chia can thicken into a dessert-like texture.
  4. Stir once chilled, then swirl the peanut butter over the top.
  5. Drizzle with the melted dark chocolate and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
  6. Serve right away for a silky pudding texture, or chill a bit longer for an even thicker chocolate oat mousse.

Tip: For the smoothest, most mousse-like result, blend thoroughly and use melted dark chocolate slightly cooled so it drizzles beautifully without seizing.
