Homemade Chocolate Bar

This glossy homemade chocolate bar is rich, velvety, and incredibly easy to make with just a few simple ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (50 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup (110 ml) coconut oil, melted
- 2 tbsp (30 g) raw honey
- 1/2 tsp (2 ml) vanilla extract, optional
- Pinch of sea salt, optional
- Extra flaky sea salt for topping, optional
Instructions
- Add the cocoa powder to a bowl and slowly whisk in the melted coconut oil until the mixture is completely smooth and glossy.
- Stir in the raw honey until fully combined and no streaks remain.
- Mix in the vanilla extract and a pinch of sea salt, if using, for extra flavor.
- Pour the chocolate mixture into a silicone chocolate bar mold or a small parchment-lined container.
- Tap the mold gently on the counter to remove air bubbles, then sprinkle with a little flaky sea salt if desired.
- Place in the refrigerator or freezer until fully set and firm, about 30-60 minutes.
- Unmold the chocolate bar, break or slice into pieces, and store chilled for the best texture.
Tip: Because coconut oil melts easily, keep your chocolate bar in the fridge or freezer so it stays firm and snappy.
