Mushroom and Garlic Spaghetti Dinner

Ingredients:
- 1 Package of Spaghetti
- 1 Package of Mushrooms (Sliced)
- 4 tbsp salted Butter (Divided into two equal pieces)
- 1 ½ tsp Garlic (Minced)
- ½ tsp Kosher Salt
- ¼ tsp Black Pepper
- ¾ cup Parmesan Cheese (Grated)
Ingredients for Garnish:
- Fresh Parsley
Directions:
- Step 1. Fill a large pot with water.
- Step 2. Add salt and bring the water to boiling.
- Step 3. Follow the remaining instructions from the back of the spaghetti package.
- Step 4. Before draining the water from the pot, set aside ¼ cup of the pasta water.
- Step 5. Add two tablespoons of butter to a large skillet set on medium-high heat.
- Step 6. Stir in the sliced mushrooms, cooking for 4-5 minutes until they begin to turn a golden brown.
- Step 7. Add in the minced garlic, stirring as they are being added. Continue to stir for a minute. Salt and pepper as needed.
- Step 8. Reduce the heat on the stove to low.
- Step 9. Add in two more tablespoons of butter.
- Step 10. Stir when adding in the pasta, reserved water and cheese. Use tongs to toss the pasta until it is coated in the sauce.
- Step 11. Taste test to season as needed.
- Step 12. Toss before serving. Spoon the spaghetti in single serving bowls.
- Step 13. Garnish with Parmesan cheese.
